## Caveats

- Separate dedicated VM, burstable VM, standard/premium x64 CI and arm64 CI tariffs. All below from official Germany rate card; US described as comparable, not exact same price.
- VM monthly illustrative figures disagree with 730h×per-minute rates. Normalize authoritative explicit per-minute rates; do not assume monthly cap.
- Burstable baseline up to 50% of allocated vCPU with micro-interval bursts to 100%; dedicated RAM/disk.
- VM IPv4 is $3/mo per minute prorated; runners include IPv4. VM allowance 0.625 TB egress per 2 vCPUs, then $3/TB; scope is per-VM not account-wide.
- Machine images billed compressed archive size $0.0000034722/GiB/min, approximated $0.15/GiB-month. CI $2.50 monthly credit only, not VM credit. New CI users default to premium.
- Null values mean unknown, not free/unlimited. No model-token cost, tax or unverified ancillary charge included.
- Native browser/device/task/credit prices with unknown CPU/RAM are deliberately non-priceable. Check regime before interpreting any partial resource estimate.
- 2026-09-28 fix pass: category paas -> hyperscaler (plain IaaS VMs, DIY: no sandbox API). VM boot/provisioning time is not published, so boot_overhead_s stays null (billing is per minute). No managed desktop/browser/computer-use product (IaaS only), so desktop/browser/computer_use=false. arm64 runners cost the same per minute as standard x64 runners but have 3 GiB/vCPU instead of 4, so ci-arm stays a separate regime. The CI regimes keep flag alt: they are GitHub Actions runner minutes, not general VMs (the engine ignores alt when the workload is CI).
- All Ubicloud accounts receive a $2.50/month credit (pricing docs, 2026-09-28), encoded as free.monthly_credit.
- CI runners use images built from GitHub actions/runner-images templates ("fully compatible with default runners"), which ship Docker Server/Client; docker_inside=true on ci-* modes.
- Two 2026 price rises: +26% for new deployments from 2026-05-01 (existing from 2026-06-01; Germany/Finland/Virginia, not premium runners) and +25% for Germany/Finland from 2026-09-01 (VMs, Postgres, K8s, standard AND premium runners; Virginia/AWS/GCP unaffected). The card's rates already equal the post-2026-09-01 Germany rates (standard-2 $0.00104/min = 2 x $0.0004804689 vCPU-min + 40 x $0.0000019531 GiB-min). Pre-May standard-2 was $26.60/mo -> $33.52 (May) -> $41.89 (Sept), i.e. +57.5% in 5 months.
- The '/mo' figures on the pricing page are 672-hour (28-day) months: the console code computes monthly = unit_price x 60 x 672. A 730-hour month of standard-2 is $45.51, not $41.89. The card correctly uses per-minute rates.
- Invoices under $0.50 are not charged (minimum_invoice_charge_threshold 0.5). Tax/VAT added on top.

## Worked example

Requested: 4 vCPU/8 GiB, 50 simultaneous × 8 h/day × 22 days = **8,800 instance-hours**, 30% CPU; 50 GiB snapshots and 100 GiB egress. A month is 730 hours only when explicitly used in rate conversion.

Dedicated standard-4 (4/16) compute: 8,800×$0.1248=$1,098.24. Fifty public IPv4s kept all month add $150, optional. 50 GiB image archives add about $7.60 using exact per-minute×730 rate. 100 GiB total egress fits VM allowances if distributed within each VM quota. Subtotal $1,255.84; no monthly cap assumed. CI alternative standard-x64 = $1,320 minus $2.50 credit, with different lifecycle/network features.
