## Caveats

- OS disks, IP, snapshots, stopped state and egress not flattened from full PIM dataset.
- Unknowns remain null, not free. Single-AZ and Metro HA servers are ordinary self-serve GA VMs (PIM API maturityModelState "ga", re-checked 2026-09-28), so they carry no alt flag; Metro HA is the same flavour at 2x price with metro redundancy. CPU overcommit differs by family: "d"-suffix flavours (c1a/c2a/g1a/g2a/m1a/m2a/b*a/g1r) have dedicated vCPUs; c1/c2i/g1/g2i/m1/m2i/s1/t1/t2i are cpuOverprovisioning:true (shared, no published baseline). *3i families are cpuOverprovisioning:false in PIM but listed under CPU-overprovisioning Intel Gen3 in the docs (conflict).
- Worked example assumes resources are released between active windows unless a retained-instance scenario is explicitly discussed.

- The first Virtual Network in each project automatically gets a bound public IP (~$3.37/month, the ipv4_month rate), billed even if the VMs use no public IP.
