Category: browser · Isolation: vm

## Pricing regimes (raw)

- **Standard browser machine, Developer plan overage** (sizes): Standard machine 6 vCPU/2 GiB $0.12/h; Large machine 8 vCPU/4 GiB $0.3/h; X-Large machine 1 vCPU/8 GiB $0.6/h
- **Standard browser machine, Startup plan overage** (sizes): Standard machine 6 vCPU/2 GiB $0.1/h; Large machine 8 vCPU/4 GiB $0.25/h; X-Large machine 1 vCPU/8 GiB $0.5/h

## Features

Yes: idle auto-stop, full VM (own kernel), browser, browser automation API, anti-bot stealth, CAPTCHA solving, residential IPs, SSO, Python, Node.js, wake on request, EU data residency, spend limits, hosted agent API (their own agent), gVisor or VM (no shared kernel)

No: snapshots, memory snapshots, fork/clone, pause/resume, persistent disk, volumes, ≥24 h sessions, start from your own snapshot, your own Docker/OCI image, Docker inside, nested virtualization, desktop GUI, computer-use API, desktop control API, browser + desktop control, preinstalled agents, SSH, public IPv4, HTTPS preview URLs, egress allowlist, static egress IP, self-hosting, BYOC, open source, GPU, arm64, Windows, macOS, HTTP method/path egress rules, live resize, live fork (no pause), memory fork, MCP server, automatic snapshots, snapshots on demand, agent harness API, inbound access rules, firewall inside (nftables), secret proxy, secret proxy for any API, extra volumes, shared volumes

Unknown: everything else. Evidence (source + quote) per feature: https://battleships.dev/data/providers/intuned.json → feature_evidence

## Caveats

- Included standard compute 3/100/500 h; Developer excess $0.12/h, Startup $0.10/h. Large +$0.18/$0.15 per hour and XL +$0.48/$0.40. Job runs also $0.12/$0.10 beyond 100/400. API machine count is provisioned pool, not necessarily browser concurrency. Pricing and docs disagree on AI credit allowances; keep them separate from compute.
- No invented browser vCPU or memory allocation: normalized 4/8 rate remains null. Proxy traffic is not necessarily equivalent to sandbox egress.
- Null values mean unknown, not free/unlimited. No model-token cost, tax or unverified ancillary charge included.
- Native browser/device/task/credit prices with unknown CPU/RAM are deliberately non-priceable. Check regime before interpreting any partial resource estimate.
- Re-checked 2026-09-28: per-hour compute rates are published (Developer $0.12/h, Startup $0.10/h beyond 100/500 included hours), so the card now prices a Standard machine per hour; machine size is unpublished (shown as a compromise).
- JobRun overage is per JobRun (a batch execution), not per payload item: $0.12 (Developer) / $0.10 (Startup) per JobRun beyond 100/400 per month (Free: 10, hard limit). Compute hours are billed on top.
- Per-project caps are tighter than the workspace total: max API machines per project/app 1 (Free), 5 (Developer), 15 (Startup); workspace 5/25/100. More needs support/Enterprise.
- Billing thresholds: on paid plans Intuned can invoice usage mid-cycle when accrued usage hits an internal threshold; a failed threshold charge can pause the account (Unpaid).
- AI usage billed through Intuned = model provider cost + 20% platform fee (BYOK avoids it). Plan fee is prorated at signup; billing anchored to the 1st; unused allowances do not roll over.

## Verified billing facts and gotchas

1. Included standard compute 3/100/500 h; Developer excess $0.12/h, Startup $0.10/h.
2. No invented browser vCPU or memory allocation: normalized 4/8 rate remains null. Proxy traffic is not necessarily equivalent to sandbox egress.

Native pricing (not coerced into incompatible engine units):
```json
{
  "browser_hour_usd": null,
  "developer_compute_hour": 0.12,
  "startup_compute_hour": 0.1,
  "developer_included_hours": 100,
  "startup_included_hours": 500
}
```

## Worked example

Requested: 4 vCPU/8 GiB, 50 simultaneous × 8 h/day × 22 days = **8,800 instance-hours**, 30% CPU; 50 GiB snapshots and 100 GiB egress. A month is 730 hours only when explicitly used in rate conversion.

A 4-vCPU/8-GiB VM is not established by the browser offering. Native plan/runtime billing is documented above; no honest general-VM monthly total can be calculated.

Page captures and documentation indexes/bundles are in `raw/`; provider JSON lists the evidence paths. HN query results were captured separately as `<id>--hn.txt`; they are discovery leads, not current tariff authority. Downloaded docs do not imply every feature was verified; unsupported assertions remain null.
