## Caveats

- VPS host hardware and VMs-per-host not disclosed. A multi-tenant macOS VPS sits uneasily with the Apple SLA requirement that a lessee gets "sole and exclusive use" of the leased Mac (licensing grey zone).
- providers/hostmyapple.json said VPS up to 64 GB and dedicated pricing unpublished; live pages show VPS 3-6 GB ($24.99-$54.99) and dedicated $59.99-$179.99.
- No provisioning or agent API found; access via NoMachine / ARD / VNC / SSH.
- Locations: Atlanta, Denver, Amsterdam (homepage).
- Apple macOS SLA: leasing a Mac requires a minimum lease of 24 consecutive hours with sole use by the lessee, and allows at most 2 additional macOS VMs per Mac.
- Refund only within the first 14 days ('Refund requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days'); crypto payments non-refundable; late payments 1.5%/month; remote hands $100/h (30-min increments) or $160/h after hours; 'Excessive usage may result in additional fees' despite 'Unlimited Bandwidth'. Annual billing only after 90 days active (discount not stated). VPS is VMware-based (FAQ: '/Library/Application Support/VMware Tools/').

HostMyApple (since 2009; Atlanta, Denver, Amsterdam) sells monthly **macOS cloud VPS**, i.e. virtualized macOS VMs, and monthly **dedicated Mac minis**. All plans include a dedicated IP, unlimited bandwidth (1000 Mbps), full admin, SSH and NoMachine/ARD/VNC. Prices are in USD.

## Gotchas

1. **VPS RAM tops out at 6 GB,** so a 4 vCPU / 8 GiB workload needs a dedicated Mac.
2. **Licensing:** a multi-tenant macOS VPS conflicts with the Apple SLA's "sole and exclusive use" of a leased Mac. VM density per host is undisclosed.
3. **The research file is outdated.** It said VPS up to 64 GB and dedicated pricing unpublished. The live pages list both (above).
4. There is no API. Access is by remote desktop and SSH only.
