## Caveats

- EAS Build (expo.dev/pricing 2026-09-28): Android medium $1 / large $2 per build; iOS medium $2 / large $4 per build. Plans: Free (15+15 builds, 1 concurrency, 45-min timeout), Starter $19 ($45 credit, 1), Production $199 ($225 credit, 2), Enterprise custom ($1,000 credit, 5); extra concurrency $50 each. Specs from docs.expo.dev/build-reference/infrastructure.
- Per-build pricing: only mobile app builds from your Expo/React Native project run here; not a general macOS machine. Encoded as start_fee per session with hour 0 (engine counts fees).
- Free-plan included builds (15 iOS + 15 Android) are not converted to a $ credit.
- Self-serve extra concurrency: up to 5 extra at $50 each on Starter (max 6) and Production (max 7); Enterprise 5 included, $50/extra; beyond 5 extra = contact sales.
- Builds canceled before any work is done are free; build jobs inside Workflows use the same flat per-build price.
- iOS worker core type conflicts across official pages: build infrastructure doc says '5 performance cores' / '10 performance cores' with 110 GB SSD; pricing.md and Workflows syntax say 'efficiency cores' (syntax: 125 GiB SSD).

## Regime table

| Regime | When it applies | How billed | Numbers | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Native product; see regime notes | Incomplete or non-resource economics: rates remain null, never interpreted as free. | resource; CPU alloc, memory alloc | Unknown or native-unit billing; see facts below | https://expo.dev |
| Current applicable tariff unverified | Plan limits apply | Monthly fee; credits only as stated | fee=None; included usage=$None; concurrent=None; max session h=None | https://expo.dev |
| Retained disk / GiB-month | Lifecycle/scope must be checked | Native add-on | unverified, not $0 | https://expo.dev |
| Snapshots / GiB-month | Lifecycle/scope must be checked | Native add-on | unverified, not $0 | https://expo.dev |
| Egress / GiB | Lifecycle/scope must be checked | Native add-on | unverified, not $0 | https://expo.dev |
| IPv4 / month | Lifecycle/scope must be checked | Native add-on | unverified, not $0 | https://expo.dev |

## Verified billing facts and gotchas

1. Managed iOS/macOS and Android builds run developer code. Starter $19 includes $45 build credits, Production $199 includes $225; 1/2 included concurrency and $50 extra slots (up to 5 self-serve); Enterprise custom. Per-build billing must not be treated as VM-hour tariff; hosting/updates separately metered.

## Worked example

Requested: 4 vCPU/8 GiB, 50 simultaneous × 8 h/day × 22 days = **8,800 instance-hours**, 30% CPU; 50 GiB snapshots and 100 GiB egress. A month is 730 hours only when explicitly used in rate conversion.

**Total: unknown.** This product does not publish a verified complete 4-vCPU/8-GiB tariff and/or the service bills a different unit. Fifty concurrent instances and eight-hour sessions are not automatically supported. Neither 30% utilization nor retained snapshots can be converted into free resources. Use the native plan terms above and request the missing CPU/RAM, retention, egress and concurrency quote.

Page captures and documentation indexes/bundles are in `raw/`; provider JSON lists the evidence paths. HN query results were captured separately as `<id>--hn.txt`; they are discovery leads, not current tariff authority. Downloaded docs do not imply every feature was verified; unsupported assertions remain null.
