## Caveats

- Public list pricing. Demo is free; Pro pays allocated live resources per second. Live fork and spawn are free. Suspend retains full memory and filesystem state.
- Features set to null were not verified. No sandbox was purchased or tested; feature/performance statements are documentation claims. Null maximums are unknown unless a cited note explicitly states unlimited.
- A complete monthly bill requires known snapshot/egress/plan limits; do not silently treat missing ancillary charges as free.
- Re-checked 2026-09-28 (collimate.ai/pricing, docs llms.txt): only vCPU $0.040/h, RAM $0.012/GB-h and suspended storage $0.10/GB-month are published. Running-disk size/price, egress price, SSH and desktop/browser support are not documented (left null).
- Running disk is metered (Disk-GB-hours while running) but no rate or per-sandbox disk size is published; estimate omits it.
- Request rate is 'per-tenant, high' on Pro (no number published); exceeding it returns 429 rate_limited. Live-fork per call capped at 32 children on Pro, 64 on Enterprise (chunk with fork_group). Exec timeout_seconds <= 3600.
- Sessions over the tier max (Demo 1 h, Pro 24 h) are reaped (deleted), not paused; suspend before the cap.
- Operator/billing: Collimate is operated by Gero Consulting (Israeli sole proprietorship); Paddle is Merchant of Record; prices may exclude tax; usage non-refundable; metered rates may change prospectively without the 30-day notice that applies to recurring fees.
- Docs pricing page, auth tiers table and Refund Policy mention a monthly Pro base fee (amount unpublished); the marketing pricing page says 'no platform fee'. Treat Pro fee as uncertain (possible hidden floor).

## Worked workload

4 vCPU / 8 GiB; 50 simultaneous instances × 8 h/day × 22 days = **8,800 instance-hours**, **35,200 vCPU-hours**, **70,400 GiB-hours**. At 30% observed CPU:10,560 active-vCPU-hours only where the meter actually uses utilization. Assume one start/instance/day:1,100starts. Retain50GiB snapshots for a month;100GiB outbound. Active disk capacity was not specified.

Compute = 8,800 × (4×0.04 + 8×0.012) = $2,252.80. 50 GiB suspended storage adds $5.00. Subtotal $2,257.80 plus unknown egress. Pro permits 50 concurrent 8h sessions. 30% CPU does not reduce allocated-resource billing.
